SOT-ID Research Program
Our Research
Located at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, the Solid Organ Transplant - Infectious Disease (SOT-ID) Research Program is dedicated to improving the healthcare outcomes of immunocompromised patients. We focus primarily on infectious diseases impacting transplant patients as well as those with critical illnesses.
Our group conducts both interventional and observational trials researching drug therapies, vaccines and medical devices as well as retrospective analysis of the impacts of diseases affecting those who are immunocompromised .
We collaborate with institutions such as the National institute of Health (NIH), Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, and various other foundations and pharmaceutical partners. We are dedicated to and excited about our work improving the standard of care for immunocompromised individuals.
Aside from research, we are a close group of people who enjoy eating baked treats and bonding over our love of caffeinated beverages. We love creating new and closer friendships with our team members as well as our study participants.
Let’s Work Together
We are always looking for collaborators and sponsors. If interested, please get in touch and one of our research coordinators will contact you about the process.
